Bright Future

Peace

Recommended Posts

The Toronto Legion have begun to reap the benefits of drafting strong, reliable prospects; Mac Atlas leads the team with 20 points, and despite Jimi Jaks unbelievably bad shooting luck, they've still put up ten points in the twenty three games they have dressed for. Had Jaks' shooting percentage been similar to Atlas' 7.35% -- whom has scored ten goals this season so far -- Jaks would have roughly six (rounded) goals by now. Those additional goals would propel the S87 prospect from 10 points to 16, enough to tie Peace for second place in team scoring. Those goals would have also propelled Jaks above Peace's current output, indicative that the time for Toronto's youth is now.

The future for the Legion is bright; a core is already in development:

S86 - Joe Castle
S87 - Mac Atlas

S87 - Jimi Jaks

S88 - Bobby Bob

The four prospects above have created a core for the Legion to build around, who have their natural first round pick (thus a high one for the next draft) and numerous second round selections.

There is a great opportunity for the Legion to build upon the blocks they've already put down.

Stay the path, Toronto, stay the path.
