Reaction to James MacAvoy Trade

San Diego Marlins have traded RW James McAvoy to the Mississauga Hounds in exchange for their own 4th rounder in the  S89 draft. There is a very interesting condition applied to this trade that will be discussed later. As the trade stands right now it is a good, solid trade. San Diego have a number of young RW on the roster. Recently acquired players like Baby Moo Moo and Keegan Gamble have added offensive depth to the Marlins making this move more understandable. The Marlins do seemto be in a selling mood, grabbing up as many high draft picks as they can. With their current core, the Marlins do seem set to contend in the not so distant future, and the condition to this trade should help in that regard. The condition is that if MacAvoy remains on the Hounds after the final game of the S88 regular season, San Diego would receive Mississauga's S89 3rd round pick in exchange for San Diego's  S89 7th pick as part of separate trade to be completed after the conclusion of S88. This condition, if activated, adds another high pick to a team looking for a few more pieces in exchange for not a whole lot. San Diego have an fantastic opportunity to win this trade if they nail the picks.
