The Saskatoon Wild have found a gem in the form of the talented right winger, Montgomery Burns. The 23-year-old was drafted 11th overall by the Wild in S88 and has since established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the league. Burns brings an impressive mix of physicality, finesse, and scoring ability to the table, making him an exciting addition to the team.

Montgomery Burns comes to Saskatoon after a successful junior career, where he established himself as a player to watch out for. He has proven his scoring ability, netting 40 goals and 50 assists over the course of his last junior season. He is also known for his physical play and his ability to use his size and strength to protect the puck and create opportunities for himself and his teammates.

One of the things that sets Burns apart from other players in the league is his unique skillset. At 6'4" and 220 pounds, he is a physical force on the ice, using his size and strength to protect the puck and create opportunities for himself and his teammates. However, he also possesses smooth hands and a quick release, which allows him to make quick, accurate passes and shoot the puck with precision. His combination of physicality and finesse makes him a difficult player to defend against, and he has proven to be a valuable asset for the Wild this season.

Despite his size and strength, Montgomery Burns also has soft hands, which allow him to make quick, accurate passes and shoot the puck with precision. His scoring ability and physicality make him a unique player in the VHL, and he's sure to make an impact on the ice for the Saskatoon Wild.

In his first 38 games with the Wild, Montgomery Burns has scored 18 goals and 14 assists, earning 32 points. While those numbers are certainly impressive, they do not tell the whole story. Burns has been a key player for the Wild, consistently putting up strong performances on both ends of the ice. His physicality has been a major asset for the team, with 74 hits and 34 PIMs to his name. He's also shown a knack for coming up big in clutch situations, with two game-winning goals to his credit. He has averaged a staggering 28 minutes a night of ice time.

Montgomery Burns has quickly become a leader on the Saskatoon Wild team, both on and off the ice. His dedication to the game and his teammates is unmatched, and he's always willing to put in the extra effort to help the team succeed. Off the ice, he's known for his involvement in the community and his passion for animal rights. He's a great person to have on the team and a true asset to the community. Off the ice, Burns is a consummate team player who is known for his positive attitude and leadership skills. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to his teammates and put in the extra effort to make sure the team is successful. His dedication and work ethic are unmatched, and he is committed to doing whatever it takes to help the Wild reach their goals this season.

Despite Montgomery Burns' strong performances, the Saskatoon Wild have had a slow start to the season. The team has struggled to find consistency on the ice, and their record reflects that. However, there have been some bright spots, with Burns leading the team in points and consistently putting up strong performances. With lots of season left to play, there's still plenty of time for the Wild to turn things around and make a push for the playoffs.

One of the reasons for the Wild's slow start is their lack of offensive production outside of Montgomery Burns. While Burns has been the team's leading scorer, the rest of the team has struggled to find the back of the net. This lack of scoring depth has put added pressure on Burns to carry the team, and it's a challenge he's risen to. However, for the team to succeed, they'll need other players to step up and contribute on the offensive end.

Thankfully the depth is getting better. Otis Boudreax now has 19 goals and 35 points. Volk Sparks also now has 35 points. Both have stepped up with a slow week for Montgomery Burns. Darko Alexander Malkovich now leads the team in points and is a big helper from the defensive end, although the PIMs have become a concern as he now is at 52 PIMs.

Another factor in the Wild's struggles has been their inconsistent play on defense. The team has given up 116 goals so far this season, which is fourth-most in the league. While some of this can be attributed to goaltending, the team's defense has also been a major factor. The Wild will need to tighten up their play in their own end if they want to have a chance at making the playoffs.

Another area where the Wild have struggled is their power play. The team has failed to convert on many of their power play opportunities. Burns has been a part of the power play unit, but the team will need to find ways to generate more scoring chances with the man advantage if they hope to improve their record.

Despite these challenges, there are reasons for the Wild to be optimistic about the rest of the season. For one, they have a talented roster, led by the likes of Montgomery Burns, Otis Boudreax and Darko Alexander Malkovich. If the team can find a way to play to their potential and get contributions from their depth, they could have a strong close to the season.

Looking forward, the Wild will need to focus on improving their defensive play and generating more scoring opportunities on the power play. If they can do that, and if Burns can continue to perform at a high level, there is no reason why they can't turn their season around and make a push for the playoffs.

Montgomery Burns has been a bright spot for the Saskatoon Wild this season. Despite the team's struggles, Burns has emerged as a key player, leading the team in points and providing a physical presence on the ice.
