Finding the Balance

Going to Europe, Kegger didn't really take advantage of the opportunity at first. He was too determined to prove the teams that passed on him wrong, and that affected his game and his mood. He wasn't going out with teammates, opting instead to either hit the weight room or go over game footage. Kegger probably would have struggled that way the whole season. That was until yet another game without a point for him, teammate Rip Wheeler saw him going back to the weight room and caught him on his way there. Wheeler dragged Kegger to a local Oslo bar that they frequent, and after a few drinks, Kegger was having a blast. That night things changed. Kegger stopped taking every game he didn't score so personally. He started to live a little. He went all around Oslo with teammates, having a great time. He didn't stop his training either, he just finally found the importance of balance. And looking at his second half of the season, it's made an impact. Kegger has had a fantastic time, and the Oslo Storm locker room has become extremely close. With this, Oslo has rocketed up the standings, and Kegger has been having a blast. He's been putting up points like it's light work, and it's all because he let himself have a little fun.

Oslo has had so much to offer Gregger, he's had a great time going around and seeing the sights with teammates. He and Swinsola, former VHLM rivals, went and saw the Akershus Fortress, and then met up with Grizz Tazzo to have dinner at one of the city's most popular restaurants. That's what a typical night looked like for Kegger. Him, Swinsola, and Tazzo were a common trio, however he's spent time with every player on the team. It was a common message around the group that if they were looking for a crazy night, just hit up Rip Wheeler and you would probably forget what happened in the morning. As of this moment, McKeggegger and the Storm are 4th in the league, 1 point back of a tie for second and 4 points back of first. The way Kegger is preparing for a late season push for first? A mix of training, going to museums, seeing Oslo's natural beauty, hikes, and going to bars and partying. He's really taken advantage of the opportunity to play in Europe and it's showing.
