Celebrating Shubham Anand's Fantastic Season

Indian star right winger Shubham Anand has had very productive season for the San Diego Marlins, with 29 goals 36 assist for an impressive 65 points. Of course the 29 goals stand out like a large boulder rolling down a steep hill. Despite multiple games and chances to get that one more goal and hit a milestone, it seems that Scuba, as he is affectionately nicknamed by his teammates, has gone cold precisely at the wrong moment. The San Diego Marlins do have a tough match-up upcoming in the playoffs against the upset minded Houston Bulls where Scuba's scoring touch will be a necessary if the Marlins want to advance to the next round. Hopefully he can get things working properly in the playoffs. In spite of the slightly disappointing ending, we feel that Scuba's season has been very successful. His +/- of 41 is second in the entire VHLM only to his teammate, the eternal VHLM player, Sjin. With that and 65 points in his first season in the VHLM, we believe that Scuba has had a great season worth celebrating. Congratulations Scuba on your wonderful season. Have a fantastic time in the playoffs. We will be cheering you on every step of the way.
