Max's Off Season

It's that time of the season that I am all too familiar with. Yes, it's golf time. While many teams and players meet up and spend a day golfing and driving around the course in a cart. I found a much more rewarding way to golf. I go to the nearest miniature golf course and have a blast. For one, you don't need to bring your own clubs and you don't need special shoes. It cost a lot less and you can go through the course in a fraction of the time. A few beers between rounds and by the end of the day you don't even remember why you are there. I got a ride home from a very nice soccer mom with a van full of screaming kids, I didn't even mind.

 

Well enough of the fun. Training is the main thing a player should do with a solid routine. The aging Max will keep at it so he can keep up with the young players that seem to have way too much energy.

 

A brief note about the playoffs. Moscow dropped another game seven like a dress on prom night. Very bad luck for them but it's becoming a habit. I hope they get through that issue as they are a very good team. Seattle is in their wheelhouse. It might not be a given that they win but I have seen this happen many times and they are a crafty team that is lead by the master of Gms.
