King Kisslinger update

Kisslinger

Recommended Posts

King Kisslinger has his eyes peeled on the upcoming VHLM draft and he couldn’t be more excited to find out where he and his family move too for the next season. Kisslinger has had a really busy offseason, working hard and training in any way he can to become a better hockey player. He has been practicing every single day and has even competed in the recent junior showcase. Kisslinger is looking to absorb as much knowledge playing with people of many leagues.

Kisslinger wants to become an elite centre for any team that picks him. He wants to be able to score the puck, dish it away without turnovers and wants to become a dominate centre man for ages to come. Kisslinger has been working on his defensive aspects of his game. shot blocking, stick positioning and positioning of his own body. He has been working with some of the best coaches from around the world on a daily basis.

Kisslinger’s top 3 strengths would have to be his face off ability, his skating and his speed. Kisslinger is a big body center who cannot be stopped when it comes to the dot. That big body moves super well as his skating and speed are second to none. His shot is powerful but not the most accurate. He feels as this is something he can improve on throughout his rookie season. Whoever gets Kisslinger is getting a machine of a skater, and a hell of a player.

Kisslinger wants to be ready for the opportunity to lead a franchise to a championship. He has been focusing on watching tape and talking with some of the best players in the world who have experienced the toughest moments in hockey. He believes he is ready to make an immediate impact to any team in the right direction. He is a very loyal player who stays committed to helping the team who committed to him.

Kisslinger likes to compare himself to Patrice Bergeron, but he can have moments like Alex Ovechkin. Kisslinger feels like he has a very complete game and it balances out nicely rather than being more dominant in the other. Kisslinger also believes that there is more to the player than the just the stat sheet. He wants to maintain a good plus minus and become a defensive wall. Kisslinger loves the Ovechkin onetimer shot on the power play, that’s how he scored his first VHLM goal in Houston last year. He is looking to add many more this way this upcoming season hoping to be a scoring threat in the power play!

At the end of the day, Kisslinger wants to play hockey at the highest level and he does not care how he does that. He will achieve his goals one way or another. Even if he doesn’t become a lottery pick, he will rock with any team that rocks with him, plain and simple. Kisslinger feels like he showed the league what he can do and he is hoping that someone noticed that he is something special.
