The announcements of outgoing flights at Seattle Tacoma Airport were interrupted by the clack of photographers’ cameras on Tuesday evening as Seattle Bears forward Yaroslav Bogatyrev was spotted boarding a flight to New York City.

After contact was made with the Bears organization, it was revealed that Bogatyrev was boarding a flight to the Big Apple to begin the long route back to Nizhnii Tagil. Given the current political situation, this requires a route of Seattle – New York – Istanbul – Moscow – Ekaterinburg. We would certainly recommending ensuring that he has enough content downloaded from Netflix to get through this mammoth journey.

Journalists attempted to get a comment out of the Russian forward following the Bears loss to the London United in the Continental Cup Finals. Many Bears fans were unhappy with how their postseason campaign ended, given that they held a 3-1 win in the series only to throw it away. The Bears faithful have already expressed their dissatisfaction with the team’s effort in the 2-0 Game 7 loss on home ice.

“There will be no comment now, and there will be no comment until I’m back from Russia in time for preseason,” Bogatyrev said in his only statement.
