Quick start for Jeff Lewis in his first season in the VHLE

Recommended Posts

After scoring 84 points in 72 games in the VHLM for the Mississauga Hounds in his rookie season, he was drafted by the Cologne Express and called up for season 89.

Worried about how he'd do against the higher level of skill, he has so far fit in quite well. He currently has 9 goals, 8 assists for 17 points in 13 games so a very nice start to his VHLE career. Tied for third in the league for goals, he's really hoping to keep things going as his team is off to a fantastic start going 9-2-2 and currently sit on top of the standings with 20 points and have the highest goal differential in the league at +21.

After leading the VHLM in shots in season 88 he is taking far less shots this season so far but his accuracy is way up with a shot percentage of an unsustainable 17.65%. While he figures this will start to drop soon he's also hoping to start shooting more as he has in the past.

Should be a good season for him!
