Hello? Hey! Hi!

 

Well this is probably...interesting at the very least.

 

I don't remember when I officially made my account, I suppose I could actually just go check but if there's one thing to know about me I am super lazy at doing the most simplistic things (just literally go look at my previous player and you'll find that out real quick). I came into the VHL as an Affiliate from the EFL and SBA, two leagues that I am still in and partake in jobs there. I created a player, Zach Whelan, some Irish kid? I believe that's where he was from. Man, I wish my memory was not so bad but it absolutely is and I cannot pretend that isn't.

 

Regardless, I cannot really say that Mister Whelan every got far in his career...because well he didn't. That dude SUCKED. Why? Because I disappeared back to my regular leagues rather quickly, leaving him to only be a distant memory, still existing and just sitting doing nothing this entire time. I'm sure some teams could've definitely used him in the VHLM or whatever, he was pretty good TPE for there, so I apologize for everybody who sent me massive amount of PMs that I probably never responded to. (Yeah, I'm actually sorry @AJW).

 

So will this time be different? Well, probably not. I'm not a very optimistic person, you see. Although I do have the time as of right now to completely do all sim leagues since its summer, you never know when things pop up and whatnot. But I hope to put my investment back into this league that I do think is pretty cool. I have a lot of friends here because of other leagues and plus theres a lot of new people to meet and get involved with. I'll probably never be super active on the forums, since most of my stuff will probably come from affiliate PT but regardless this will be a fun change of pace for me.

 

My new player is the "Big Bad Russian", or something. I dunno, I had absolutely no creation in terms of names so I just had to come up with something and roll with it. I probably should've made it relate to my SBA player now that I think about it. Oh well, missed opportunity. With people to help me, I think this will go decently well. I must say, I no absolutely NOTHING about hockey. Nothing about metrics, statistics, nothing. I only know there's a goalie, basically. And that's not even my position. So you can imagine how this is probably going to go.

 

But who cares! Cheers to new chapters! Maybe my character this time will actually be remembered unlike Whelan. Maybe my character will forever live in the lower levels or something, I dunno how this progression system really works since I've basically never really paid attention to stuff but yeah! I'll be around on the Discord and of course my affiliate partners, so come say hi to me whenever. I'll need all the help I can get because your boy is not that smart

Article Review: Welcome back, thanks for your honesty. Not a glowing recommendation for yourself or your ability to help a team.  But on the other hand you aren't hiding anything either, anyone who drafts you should know exactly what to expect.  Hope you stick around for a while and get to experience the fun that the VHL can be.  As you have job pay from other leagues there is a limited workload beyond logging on and claiming.  I give this article a 10/10, for pure honesty.  Good luck and hope you enjoy round 2.
