After Mississauga lost three games in a row; twice to Houston and once to Ottawa, the team has managed to turn things around. Mississauga is currently sailing in a tasty five-game winning streak. The Hounds rookie center Jarmo Ruutu had this to say after the 4-1 win from Saskatoon Wild:

 

"Hockey is fun right now, we are working hard and earning those high-percentage chances. Maybe early in the year we were not ready to fight and get into the dirty areas, but every player on the roster is putting all on the line for the team at the moment, I think that is the difference between our game as a late and in the past. We created a decent amount of chances, but not as much as now. When you work hard and play hard, usually good things will happen"

 

Mississauga will face a proper test in the next game as the number one team in the league, Philadelphia, travels to Mississauga. The last two games between the teams have gone all the way to the OT, so fair to assume that we will be watching a tight game this time around as well!
