Geneva Check In

At almost the 50 game mark of S89, the Geneva Rush find themselves in 3rd place in the VHL. After a scorching hot start to the season, the team has calmed down a bit as of late but is still positioned for a playoff push. The Rush are being led by S87 draft pick Ellis Woolfenden who has 26 goals, 44 assists and 70 points in 49 games played. This is good for the third highest point total in the VHLE. Right winger Kobe Johnson leads the team in goals with 28 and defenseman Nagy AL is contributing offensively with 51 points and defensively with a team-leading 116 shots blocked. Between the pipes, veteran goaltender Travis Clarke has posted a 20-11-3 record and a 92.6% save percentage to provide the team with a steady presence on the back end. The team has 22 games remaining in the regular season and has a comfortable 10 point cushion in the standings ahead of the 6th place team. Let’s see how the team performs down the stretch
