The first quarter is over for the VHLM and it was rather eventful for Toby Kadachi, with a super hot start before slowing down a bit but still keeping up solid numbers. To top it off Kadachi was traded right after the quarter mark, meaning Kadachi played exactly 25% of the season with the Houston Bulls. The Russian winger started off by scoring 8 points in 3 games, leading point scorers in the M for a brief period of time. While Kadachi would continue playing above a point per game he did slow down, having 7 points in the next 7 games and 6 points in the final 8 games. It is important to note that Joshua was traded prior to the two final games, meaning the Bulls lost it's top producer and making it harder for Kadachi, to top it off the team he was traded too, the Saskatoon Wild, was their next opponent for the next two games and Joshua wasn't shy about putting them down. For Kadachi we are tracking his hits as he was known for throwing some pretty big hits before coming over the VHL. this quarter he put up 44, so throwing at least two hits per game, not bad but we're sure he can do better than that. Next quarter will be interesting as we'll get to see how well Kadachi adapts to having new teammates around him, as he joined the best team in the league this season, the Mississauga Hounds.
