Riga Reign prospect Jussi Jokinenegg recently played in his 100th career game in the VHLM, all with the Saskatchewan Wild. Drafted 24th overall by the Wild, and 42nd overall by Riga, JJ, who hails from a small town in Finland called Kalajoki, has put up 72 points in 101 games. With 57 points as a rookie, Jokinenegg finished 4th in team scoring. The young winger got off to a slow start in his 2nd season and is in the bottom half of the Wild scoring list, but has picked up the pace as the red hot Wild went on a 12-2 run, rocketing them up the standings. The lack of scoring seems to have paid off in the defensive end, however. Jokinenegg is a +13 so far this season, a vast improvement from his - 29 as a rookie. The future is bright for the speedy Fin, and he and the Saskatchewan team prepare to make a run at the title and bring the Founder’s Cup  up north.
