The GREAT Bratislava Watchmen have once more found a secret sauce to plow their way through even the toughest of competition in the Victory Hockey League Europe. Their trademark style in S90, the second under Pines' reign, has been a stingy, defense first, limiting opposition players to the outside and preventing them from moving into dangerous positions unopposed. This has seen defenseman Sunset Moth, Jebediah Big Ol Doinks in Amish, and Nagy AL flourish, with their counter attacking ability allowing the defenseman to collect points and appear in the top 10 scoring for defenseman. The defensive style has allowed for their dueling goalers, WWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWWWWWWWWWWW and Jonny Elgar, to both be left in an argument for both goalie of the year, and potentially even MVP. This level of goaltending prowess hasn't been seen in Bratislava since the era of Orion D H Chiester IX, who never made the jump to the majors.
