Scurvy 1,392 Posted September 11, 2023 Share Posted September 11, 2023 At the halfway point of the season the Vancouver Wolves are doing their best to catch the surging Los Angeles Stars. The Stars keep pulling away having won 5 straight but the Wolves have kept up with 9 straight wins. The Wolves are relying on team scoring with 7 players in double digits in goals. Girts Galvins has also gotten hot after a slow start and I am hoping for a great season in Girts's final run. PEB has also started getting hot too and if Payne and PEB stay consistent,the back end will stifle opposing forwards. The Wolves will have to continue to play team hockey to catch LA and Toronto but I think come playoff time the Wolves will be tough to beat.
