Time running out

Time is running out for Henry Eagles and Malmo.

 

Malmo has 5 games left in the season and they are 4 points back of Helsinki for the final wild card spot. This was not the spot Malmo and it's fans thought they would be in when the season started, some even had Malmo down as top cup contenders.

 

"The season hasn't gone as planned personally or even as a team" Henry said " we have 5 games left to make a final push, best case scenario is we win all our remaining games and Helsinki stumbles down the stretch, it's a lot to ask but that's the position we put ourselves in. We have a team that has been battling adversary all season long and this is just another step in that path. We have to leave it all on the line"

 

If the team fails to make the playoffs, many are wondering how the off-season will look. Malmo was supposed to be a top team and not making the playoffs will have a lot of fans asking questions. If they fail to make the playoffs will the team keep their struggling stars or will they blow everything up? It's a question many don't want to ask and are hoping that this team can squeak in.
