ke1vi 662
The Toronto Legion came up short last season after having one of the more promising rosters in recent memory. Hall of Famer Ronan Lavelle is no longer with the team after a recent retirement which is bringing more roles and responsibilities for Jimi Jax and Mac Atlas, the two young stars that have been at the forefront of the Legion’s core. Atlas and Jax, in their 4th year, were the #2 and #3 players behind Lavelle in scoring. The Legion are going to have to lean on these two players to have some playoff success going forward. The once highly touted prospects are now the veterans of the team and are ready to take the next step in their careers. In the media day interviews, Jax discussed the learnings of last year and how to prepare for this season. “I think it’s more of just not letting the foot off the gas. We had the 3-2 series lead, felt good, played good, but just never got the bounces in the last two games”. Jax, who’s come up short in the VHLE with the Oslo Storm, it not letting it get to his head as much as it did last time. “The Oslo collapse hurt a lot, but this time around its different. You just have to look forward and adjust, and hope some luck goes your way. I’m hoping it does at some point. The Legion are set to start the season next week. jacobcarson877 and v.2 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/141985-start-of-a-new-season-for-jax/ Share on other sites
