Hello Cologne, Thanks for Having Me!

S91 draftee Joshua Schwarzer has made the leap from the VHLM to the VHLE and is now setting his sights on having an extraordinary debut season with the Cologne Express. Eager to further refine his skills and elevate his game to new heights, Schwarzer has his sights firmly set on making a tremendous impact in the upcoming season and fortifying his gameplay to rival the seasoned competitors of the league.

Over the offseason, Schwarzer demonstrated a strong commitment to his intensive training regimen. While reflecting on his transition, Schwarzer emphasized his commitment to enhancing both his offensive prowess and defensive fortitude, with the ultimate goal of becoming a more well-rounded player who is capable of dictating the flow of the game.

With the Cologne Express boasting a remarkable track record of back-to-back consecutive championship victories, the team's expectations for the upcoming season are nothing short of accomplishing the three-peat and becoming winners again. As Schwarzer integrates into the roster, the collective Express fanbase are hoping he is able to seamlessly adapt to the much faster paced VHLE game.

With the Express fielding a huge roster of players this season, creating a cohesive and dynamic team environment will be key to a successful season. Whenever he is on the ice, Schwarzer knows he has to create strategic turnovers and add substantial firepower for the team or risk losing his spot in the lineup.

However, it won’t just be Schwarzer integrating into this championship winning environment though. He is joined by a plethora of formidable S91 draftees in Lionel Collberg, Phillip Rave, and Theo Allard. This infusion of youthful energy into the team's dynamic represents a promising but perhaps chaotic chemistry that will have to be sorted out early in the season.

While acknowledging the caliber of talent prevalent within his own team as well as opposing teams in the VHLE, Schwarzer remains undaunted, viewing the competitive landscape as a challenge to showcase his capabilities on a grander stage. As the season kicks off, Schwarzer is just letting it all soak in and enjoying the experience.

"Cologne has welcomed me with open arms, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible team. The support and camaraderie here are unparalleled, and I am eager to repay their faith in me by giving my all on the ice. Together, we're set to achieve great things, and I'm excited to contribute to our collective success." – Joshua Schwarzer
