Jimi Jax is off to one of the best starts of his VHL career, but his teams record is overshadowing the personal success. The Toronto Legion are 2-6-0 on the season, a record that looks worse than it should be after a handful of close losses. Despite being 7th in the NA conference, their even goal differential ranks 4th.  Jaks currently has 11 points in 8 games which is currently leads the Legion but not within the Top 20 scorers in the lead. The American forward believes the team will be just fine as the season goes on.

“I think we’re getting some tough bounces to start off. It’s been all close games here and sometimes it doesn’t go our way… well it’s been mostly not going our way”.

On top of that, he’s still not satisfied with his personal performance.

“It’s year 5 now and I’ve yet to crack amongst the top scorers. I think I’m capable of bringing a lot more and that should carryover to team success”.
