After receiving the Ronan Lavelle Trophy as VHLE MVP in S90, Harry Callahan had high expectations stepping into the VHL for the first time in his career.

The Toronto Legion have started the season 7-9-0, and sit 12th overall in the VHL standings. Despite the 12th spot in the standings, the Legion hold the 6th best goal differential (+6), a sign that they're due for some puck luck to shuffle up the standings.

So far, it has been an up and down performance for the rookie, who has contributed 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points in his first 16 games for the Legion. The 11 points in 16 games so far has Callahan ranked 7th in rookie point production so far, a mark that he will look to improve upon as the season continues. After 3 points in his first 8 games, Callahan has put up 8 points in his last 8, improving his points per game from 0.38 to 0.69. Most importantly for Harry, he's holding steady at a +3 on the season, proving that he can be trusted to not be a negative on the ice in the early going.

The focal point moving forward for Callahan will be to continue improving defensively, while looking to contribute at the offensive end of the ice. After improving from the first 8 game segment to the second, the next segment is just as important.
