Schwarzer Finds Scoring touch in VHLE

In a surprising display of offensive prowess, Joshua Schwarzer has emerged as a key contributor for the Cologne Express, finding his scoring touch in the past few weeks. Currently standing at 7th overall in league scoring, Schwarzer has notched an impressive 39 points in 38 games, showcasing his ability to make an impact on the scoresheet.

Adjusting seamlessly to new linemates, Schwarzer has played a pivotal role on both the second and fourth lines, forming effective partnerships with Theo Allard, Baby Moo Moo, Phillip Rave, and Martin Kemp. His versatility and adaptability have been crucial for the team's success, providing valuable depth across various lines.

The offensive depth in Cologne is truly remarkable as Schwarzer’s teammates Anthony Simmons and Jordan Bennett have also been instrumental in Cologne's offensive surge and are above him in overall scoring. With the offensive side of things clicking, the team knows that the next step is to buckle down and improve their defensive game. While the Express lead the league in goals scored, they also have the third highest goals against.

As the trade deadline looms, Cologne aims to leverage this positive momentum, positioning themselves strategically for a successful playoff run.
