One final season goes by and as it comes to a conclusion, the question is whether Landon Wolanin can escape his career woes and break the 100 point threshold. With 8 games to go, and 7 points left to hit the mark, it will require consistency, or a couple of massive efforts. 3 more goals and he would exceed his season high, and hit the 50 goal mark for the first time. A 50-goal, 50-assist season isn’t out of the question, and would be a great addition to his good career. His shooting rate is lower than past seasons and so the focus has turned to making the most of the opportunities, rather than blindly shooting at every opportunity. It is refreshing to see that this kind of success is not limited to being a Wrangler, and that he doesn’t need a Daniel Janser type, first-ballot Hall of Famer, partner to carry him to success. Not that Daryl Dixon is any form of a slouch, but has obviously not put together the kind of career that is trending towards a first-ballot Hall of Fame induction.
