ESPN.SK - The Bratislava Watchmen have shored up a problem that has plagued them for the entire tenure of veteran manager Jeffrey Pines - the lack of scoring firepower. As manager of the Los Angeles Stars, Pines was famed for their offensive coaching strategy, including unlocking the scoring ability of veteran forward Dan Dan, growing their point total by 54 from their 7th to 8th season. Despite this history, Bratislava has become known as a stingy, defense first team. all centred around star goaltenders Jonny Elgar, 30W, and Red Panda. Entering S92. the squad will live and die by their top four forwards: two returnees, captain Mikko Borisyuk, and James MacAvoy, trade acquisition Eno Velvson, and free agent signee Chris Sanzone.

With the draft looming and training camp fast approaching, all members of the organization have high hopes for the near future of the team, Pines said to the media in the final media scrum in Slovakia before the draft that "our scouts are looking at all options, but our main focus is finalizing our D pairings. We're looking at a completely new core then what we had last season, and that has advantages and disadvantages."
