Misty 73
(I apologize in advance for any terminology mistakes or flaws this is my first try at an article) An All-Star, something every player in the Victory Hockey League aspires to be. To be an All-Star means to be greater than the rest, to exceed in your strengths, and to excel in your fields of expertise. It’s something that not many get to be, but yearn to. Some start as prospects only to stumble and fall, never to get back up and reach the end in good conscience. While others keep pushing themselves until they achieve their goal and become some of the greatest in the league. The league already has some promising players, some rising faster than others. Here are just a few of our rising stars from the Victory Hockey League;—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Saskatoon WildForum Content | LW | 6’2 | 220lb | 22As our current top point leader, Forum Content is our first rising star. With his points almost being double his games played we’re sure you can see why. Forum Content always seems to find a way to either get a goal or assist a teammate with his nifty stick-handling skills and puck control. His Victory Hockey League career will definitely be one that’s followed by many watchful eyes from the media and scouts from other teams.Philadelphia ReapersYermolai Nabokov | RW | 6’8 | 250lb | 16 One of the youngest yet most tankiest forwards is one of our best point-bearers in the Victory Hockey League, with his size and ability he’s a joy to watch on the ice. Although he’s had a rocky start, this young gun is one to look out for on the ice this season. From the looks of his past few games, Yermolai Nebokov has a real shot at being an All-Star if he stays consistent. Huston BullsTrimiskez Artav | RW | 6’0 | 205lb | 18This young forward has a promising future in the Victory Hockey League ahead of him, with an astonishing start Trimiskez has had an amazing off-season so far, his career stats being a perfect reflection of how well he plays not only for himself but for his teammates on the ice. His drive to score while also having a knack for team play gives way to the potential to be one of our All-Stars.Miami MaraudersBilbo Teebaggins | D | 6’3 | 225lb | 21As one of the best defensemen in the Victory Hockey League, Bilbo Teebaggins is a great example of what a defenseman should strive to be. Blocking shots and assisting in plays is what makes this player so great, he always manages to be in the right place at the right time, always making sure to be in position and be that little bit of extra reassurance his goalie needs.Philadelphia ReapersJorgen Lovstrom | G | 6’0 | 180lb | 24Jorgen Lovstrom, making saves left right, and center well the rest of his team provides reassurance with goals of their own but they wouldn’t be so far ahead without a goalie as observant and swift as Jorgen Lovstrom. Being one of the best goalies this off-season we can definitely see him being one of our future All-Star goalies in the Victory Hockey League.—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------These are but a few of a bunch of players that we can see being potential All-Stars if there ever is another All-Star event, we’re hoping to see the return of it as it’s always amazing to see the best players in the Victory Hockey League compete and have a chance to show off their skills ultimately seeing just who is the best of the best.575 wordsWeeks including;Jan 28th - Feb 3rd jacobcarson877, AJW, Triller and 1 other 2 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/144766-theme-week-to-be-or-not-to-be-rising-stars/ Share on other sites
