A hidden gem in the JST?

Going into the Junior Showcase Tournament, the Phantom of the VHL had very high hopes. After a crushing first round playoff defeat, The Phantom needed something to take his mind off his first ever playoff loss. Then he was made aware he would be an avaliable pick in the upcoming JST, his hopes flared up. Would he be the first overall pick? A top 10 selection. The hopes were high, but sadly the answers to both of those questions was no, they were very far off. Instead of being a top pick as he believed in himself to be, The Phantom was picked by the Royals at pick number 47. 47 of 80 total picks. While this was devastating to The Phantom and his morale, he knew what he had to do. He had to make up for the low pick and prove that he was much more worthy than that.

As the games begun, The Phantom's presence was felt, through the first three games he showed flashes of being potentially one of the best in the tournament with three goals and three assists, only point off of the first place spot. The tournament still has a lot of games to be played, but if The Phantom is able to keep up this pace he will finish among the top of the leaderboards, an astounding result for a 47th overall pick.
