UghSike 221
Selected seventh overall by Oslo and making my debut in THE VHLE, I am entering a new phase of my career. For myself, I am setting my standards high. I don't like to disappoint, and I have a really good feeling about the direction this team is headed in. We have a lot of talent in our lineup and I'm hoping to add something to that. In the off-season, I decided to make some major changes to my build after rethinking the approach and direction I want to take my player in. I think I the end, I'll shape up to be a strong two way forward. I'm still focused on my abilities as a forward, but I'd like to be reliable and an asset at both ends of the ice. I feel like I learned a lot in ProAm and it was humbling just as much as it was a learning experience. Playing alongside other players who possess a much more seasoned experience has been fun. And, there's a lot to learn from them. So, I try to take what's been working for the veterans and apply it to myself. Going into this, I have very high hopes for myself and a ton of confidence in the squad we're working with. I truly believe this is going to be one hell of a season for Oslo. It's also been fun to watch the people who started around the same time as I did. I follow their progression and also take something from that. I spent my first day with the team in the locker room and everyone is really helpful and supportive. I'm always keeping a growth mindset working because I'm still a little wet behind the ears. A great locker room vibe is important. It helps players stay interested and engaged. Luckily, I've had nothing but great experiences across the board with all the GM/AGM's I've aged for. And really, I wish everyone well in their future endeavors in the league. It can be competitive, but it's always been fun. So, I'm excited to play in Oslo. I hope I can live up to all of the hype (wasn't really a lot of hype about me) and help this team get a cup. We're looking pretty dangerous and potent all around. I think each one of us is going to make the next one just that much better. Signing out from my new home in Oslo! UghSike. 410 Words.
