Zurich, Switzerland - As we edge closer to the off-season, most teams have packed their belongings and started working on season 94. In the VHLM, the Wild have won the Founders Cup, and in the VHLE, the Oslo Storm are up 3-1 on the Vasteras Iron Eagles.

 

We're in for the last week of hockey this season! And draft talk is increasing by the minute, with the hopeful fans of teams around the league waiting to see if their team takes advantage of one of the best draft classes we've seen.

 

One of these prospects is Maverick Goncalves. The Swiss Winger has been spotted around Zurich with his girlfriend, who seems to enjoy the off-season shopping spree.

 

Approached by fans around the Bahnhofstrasse, one of the most exclusive Avenues in the World, Maverick wasn't shy about some of the questions people were asking him, with one video catching the following exchange.

 

"Hey, Maverick! Wo glaubst du, wirst du nächste Saison spielen?" This roughly translates to a fan asking where Maverick thought we would be playing next season, and the answer was, "Wherever I want."

 

With the VHL Lottery happening later in the week and Maverick's projection to go top 3 in the VHL Draft, we're not sure he'll play wherever he wants, but well... That's a soundbite!
