The season 94 draft was going normal, the players we thought would go first went first. The players we thought would be 2nd round picks were 2nd round picks. Guessing where players go is just a fun little game we all in the league like to play leading up to the draft. Ultimately a lot of these players in the first round are going to accomplish great things with their respective teams. But what about the 2nd round? Some of these players can be really hit or miss, it all really depends on the player. Popular recreates usually end up in the first round despite TPE, and first gen players are usually taken just a little later due to a lack of experience in the league and how I think some GMs prefer to have people who are already known in the community. The 2nd round is where gems are found, players who might have just recreated in the middle of the season the year before, players who you really have to gamble on.

And the 2nd round of this years draft is nothing short of this, the Moscow Menace had one pick in the 2nd round this year, opting instead to have the first two picks in the draft, but despite all this they might have the biggest steal of the draft to show for it. In the 2nd round at pick #26 Prague selected Nick Sunderbruch Jr, who just came off a little underwhelming performance in his VHLM rookie campaign with the Las Vegas Aces. However Nick is expected to make a massive leap this year and will absolutely be a default 1st line player in the M with whoever selects him with a top 5 pick in the VHLM Dispersal Draft. With the rapid development of Sunderbruch, and the experience that he already has, I'm certain that he's the steal of this years 2nd round. Now, where does Moscow fall into this? I'm glad you asked voice in my head! Moscow actually traded for Sunderbruch, negating the lack of a 2nd in this years draft.

Moscow traded this years 2nd that they had obtained from Toronto to Prague, effectively being tradeup without losing any value at all. Moscow got their guy in all technicality a pick before they would have. Not only is this just a solid trade for Moscow, but it really showcases just how good @Spartan  is when it comes to getting value out of draft capital and trades. This isn't the first time he's made a stellar trade of this caliber, and it's certainly not going to be the last time. I'm hopeful for this Moscow team, not only are they absolutely stacked as is, they had perhaps the best draft out of the entire league. I'm certain in 2 seasons when Sunderbruch ends up in the VHL, he's going to light a fire under the league, and put everyone on notice. I expect many great things to come from this team and the draft class of S94.

I hope you all enjoyed watching me ramble about myself and my friends again for another week, I'll happily take 6 TPE every week to hype my homies up on the forums. I really appreciate the hell out of this community and the friends I've made who are still around and active. Godspeed my comrades, we're winning a few cups during my tenure with Moscow I'm calling it now. Anyways I think I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I need to grab my helmet and jockstrap. Stay warm and stay icy, Seacrest out.
