It seems as though its the background of the original render, but the simply shade of blue and the faded logo is really what makes it - and the way the logo is overlayed blends in very well. I love the use of the Colorado jerseys for London, and love the effort you put into the jersey change and the logo on the plaque that he's holding. The text is nice and simple, but I think it seems a little too spaced from the render and could have been moved closer. There are no textures on this, but I don't think they are needed with the way you have the lighting.
