VHLM - One Reason Why Every Team Will Win the Cup

The title is basically what this article will be about. I will go team by team and give one reason why they'll win the cup, from first place all the way to last. I will try to genuinely find arguments for a reason why each team will win, even if they are 10th place, it doesn't matter (SOME WILL BE FUNNY). Alright, time to start!

Halifax 21st - 46-5-2

Starting off the list, we have the Halifax 21st. This is going to be the easiest one to many a case for winning, as they are stacked beyond belief. They have 7 capped players and a couple more around 190 TPE. This team is insanely loaded and they should easily be the favorites. They literally have 0 holes on their roster and I don't even need to mention names. Regardless, I could easily see this team winning and I think a lot of people have already slotted them to win the cup.

Mexico City Kings - 38-9-6

Second on the list, we have the Mexico City Kings. Mexico has had a fairly good season, where they should easily eclipse 40 wins, and possibly get to 50. Unlike Halifax, I feel like this team has been overperforming a bit, as they don't have the strongest roster, but are still very good. This is the exact reason why they're going to win the cup. STHS seems to just pick one team every single season to favor and it's Mexico City this season, hence meaning they're going to win!

Miami Marauders - 37-9-6

In third place, we have the Miami Marauders. Miami actually has a better roster on paper than Mexico, and seem to be the closest team roster wise to Halifax. They've got a lot of players that are capped, with 6 of their players being at the cap, and a couple other players VERY close. They've also got a capped goalie, which seems to be basically necessary now to go far in the M. I'd honestly say in a series against Halifax, it's probably like 45/55 in favor to Halifax, and all they need is a couple games to go their way to win it all.

Saskatoon Wild - 36-14-2

Up in fourth place is the Saskatoon Wild. The Wild have a similar roster to the Mexico City Kings, but just haven't had the same amount of luck. However, you know what they do have? Two Chicago Phoenix drafted players in Micah Cederbaum and Kevin OConnor. This is why they're going to win it all, because Chicago Phoenix prospects are literally the GOAT and they are going to be the best duo come playoff time. Someone put these two on watch, because once they got hot, you're not putting them out.

Houston Bulls - 34-17-1

In fifth place, we have the Houston Bulls. You already know where this is going to be going. They've got a huge roster, so they can run multiple lines, but they've got a secret weapon hiding, ready to strike at any moment. That's right, it's the LEGEND LIGHTNING MCSNIPE. I won't glaze him, because I made an entire article doing so. However, he's the next Wayne Gretzky and will literally carry the entire team with over 100 points in the playoffs. If it doesn't happen, the league is rigged. Houston cupping baby!

San Diego Marlins - 28-22-3

We're now halfway through! Up next we have the San Diego Marlins. We'll be back to serious analysis, as San Diego doesn't have a full roster, so first, I'd try to acquire at least, two more forwards. Being able to have six forwards compared to four is a massive upgrade, and it will seriously help them in the playoffs. The odds of them adding more defenseman is probably not going to happen, so just focus on forwards. You could always end up trading away a goalie and get a kings ransom in return. How are they going to win the cup? Because, they will do these trades and make them a contender. That's how.

Mississauga Hounds - 18-29-5

Up in seventh, we have the Hounds. Honestly, this team's forward core isn't actually that bad, they actually have an extra forward. They could realistically trade away some forwards and try to get a D man, or a goalie, which they so desperately need. Assuming they get these players, they could actually be in a good spot. However, the real kicker on how they will win the cup is recreate day. Once TDL is over, people are free to recreate, and I think Mississauga could be a good destination for a lot of players, especially goalies and defenseman. They're a dark horse and should they get recreates, they could scare a lot of teams and win!

Philadelphia Reapers - 13-36-4

Up in eighth and the last playoff spot, we have the Reapers. I will keep this short, because they've really got not too much going for them. However, just like Mississauga, recreates are coming and it's time to pray they go to your team. You could secure these players (especially some defenseman) and possibly trade for a forward and you're golden. You will need some STHS luck, but STHS could just pick your team to win the cup!

Ottawa Lynx - 11-40-2

Okay, let's be for real for a second. This is Grape's team. This team is screwed unless STHS himself goes to Grape's house and rigs his client so he wins every single game. Is it possible? I mean, I guess anything could happen. If that happens, I will personally retire my player and step down as GM. We all know this is never going to happen... unless?

Las Vegas Aces - 2-47-4

You tried. The only thing you can realistically win is the first overall pick. I'm so sorry. However, the good news is you won't break the Mississauga Hounds record for being the worst team ever, so I guess that's good, right? In all seriousness, if you somehow make the playoffs and win the cup, we might need to start using a different sim engine and delete STHS from existence. It would be amazing if it somehow happened though.
