The Mexico City Kings were able to secure the services of one of the latest Greenland Youth Academy standouts, Alagsantere Grønvold. The towering, smooth-skating defender will remain with the team until the conclusion of the S94 postseason; he will then enter the VHLM draft. While the Kings are certainly thrilled to add a fourth defenseman to their lineup to help them follow up their stellar regular season with a Founders Cup playoff run, the process has been anything but easy with Grønvold.

First, there were problems with Grønvold's draft eligibility due to a paperwork mistake. Originally, the league listed Grønvold as a S95 VHL entry draft-eligible prospect, which would mean a year of development mostly lost for the Greenlander. While his game is really mature for his age, it's only fair that the league management immediately fixed the error upon being notified.

However, this was not the end of the hurdles on Grønvold's road to Mexico. A major setback came to light right before putting pen to paper: Abel Lend, Grønvold's agent, had secured a work visa for the USA, not Mexico. By the time other waiver players who joined the league the same day Grønvold did already have 3-4 games under their belt, the Greenlander has yet to suit up for the Kings. According to our sources, he should be able to join the team's upcoming game against Ottawa.

Grønvold's statement is not suitable to be shared because of the use of strong language, but I'm sure you can imagine it included strong displeasure and promises of firing Mr. Lend.

Just like your pfp, right? :kekw:

Hey, Grønvold is point per game in his first sim!

It's a conspiracy i tell you, Pan also missed his first round of sims. Since joining the lineup, the Wild has not gotten a goal against anymore.
Coincidence? I don't think so!

I think Pan/Alagsantare simply failed the fitness test and nobody wants to talk about it ;)
