Hello! Hello!! I was a little busy and wasn't able to upload the winners for last week; sorry for that. I did have it started. Instead, since I've now missed two, it'll be a jumbo article, hopefully not too big though 😋 Here's your winners of Week 6 in the VHLM!!! ..Including a new school of fish who casted their talents into the draft pool for sailors to see!!!!

GAMES 53-62
CONSISTENT goes to..
LW. Seto Kaiba (7 GAMES)

Making a name for himself last week with an extended point streak of five, Kaiba quickly became a crowd favourite in his second week of play. Now with another seven streak to add to his bag of quick brags, it should make him even more enticing for anybody looking for a top player who can score in bunches. Did I mention he also has the potential to grow even more before the waves settle? Lookout, he's warming up his deck—I mean, his stick!! The person closest to Kaiba was Inker Belle, who had a four-game streak; Akimoto and Sunder also had three games straight with points.

SECOND-BEST goes to..
LW. Seto Kaiba (3 GAMES)

Not a dominating victory like some of his previous team honours, but the fact he won another in a close race with plenty of surging teammates is incredible, making this another easy case despite only leading three separate times. Rising to the top of the stat sheets with the rest of the competition, soaring like a dragon, fierce in each flap, supporting team leaders perfectly as the height ascended, it was Seto who showed his San Diego partners exactly how to react to line changes and stiffer competition, making it easy for others to follow and step up their game/builds, holding onto a low-key demeanour and focused mentality along the way. Sunderbruch was next in line with two, and five others shared the third spot with one.

TEAM LEADER goes to..
C. Nicholas Sunderbruch (3 GAMES)

Similar to Kaiba winning the last honour, Sunderbruch also won this one with pure grit and determination around the net, playing as a clear leader for a majority of his games, averaging a point per game all week with a few eye-popping moments. Behind him were Spider Panda and Masa Akimoto who also had highlights: Panda stopping 28 and 21, Masa gathering two points in five different games, two of them leading the way in low-scoring efforts.

And now it's the winners of Week 7; hopefully these motivations help the Marlins in the first round!

GAMES 63-72
CONSISTENT goes to..
C. Nicholas Sunderbruch (7 GAMES)

Holey moley! Starting the week with a few huge games totaling four points twice, at the end and start, with several backseat mentions, it's no surprise Sunderbruch was the most consistent player to end the season. Like I said, Nicholas had two games with some of the best displays of puck the San Diego Marlins filmed for their fans to watch, helping season-long teammate Belle add three to her statistics and newcomer You're Not Fucking Retiring benefits from the second adding three to their profile. In the other games he didn't play a huge part in, it was clear a tired N.S. was missed, almost winning team leader at the same time with minimal try. Ender, Masa Akimoto, You're Not Fucking Retiring all went on streaks of four; Inker Belle, Seto Kaiba and kevin johnathen streaked for three. Bartholomew Lorequavius had two.

SECOND-BEST goes to..
RW. You're Not Fucking Retiring (3 GAMES)

Hiya here, rookie, look at you making a difference for your team, on and off the ice. Not only does his name motivate people, players, and beerleaguers around them, they can support whoever the team decides to lead the way during late game strategy sessions. Doing it three times, with strong cases, it was clear retirement was far from reach for this winger, adding eight points being a second bestie to the forwards in his short journey, proving that he can play more minutes when the post season begins. johnathen, Belle and Akimoto shared similar habits and all stepped up as the number two twice.

Best Performance ➡ Game 10 (357) G:2 A:1 P:3 +/-:+2 PIM:2 S:11

TEAM LEADER goes to..
RW. Inker Belle (3 GAMES)
Finally, after 68 games, and many, many mentions in the paragraphs of other winners, Belle wins something during her season! Yeay!! Doing it with sure wins and first stars, it was clear Belle wanted this win, and she definitely earned it in every way, stepping up better than before and putting in a great effort all week with three different streaks. Ender, Spider Panda, Nicholas Sunderbruch each ended the year with two leadership positions. No right wing had a tag before this; did Belle start a trend?!

Best Performance ➡ Game 6 (338) G:2 A:1 P:3 +/-:E S:7 SB:1
