jRuutu 2,464
Moscow Menace has beaten the Warsaw Predators. Moscow moves on to the next round, the off-season starts for Warsaw. Looking back at the series, Moscow's winning was right. Moscow was more of a threat offensively throughout the series as Moscow had 219 shots, and Warsaw 110 shots. Moscow also scored more goals with 21 goals to Warsaw's 12. Perhaps surprisingly in special teams there was not much of a difference between the two teams as Moscow's PP % was 25 and Warsaw's 20. On the penalty kill Moscow was 80% and Warsaw 75%. Those numbers tell us that the biggest difference-maker was 5-on-5 hockey and like the shots show Moscow was dominant. On the next round Moscow will face London, one of the luckiest teams in the league during the regular season with favorable matchups and sim-luck in terms of winning games that London did not deserve to win. When considering Moscow's dominant performance against Warsaw, London is without a doubt shaking in their boots, or whatever they wear in London.
