World Cup in danger? Re-sim going to take place?

When you open the "Round Robin" index from the S94 World Cup index thread you immediately notice something alarming - no games, no standings, no stats - emptiness.  It appears the link leads to the playoff index and not to the round-robin. Fans around the internet have started to speculate whether technical problems are the reason and the correct link will be uploaded soon or if it is this a classic case of SWUTIOWKW - Simming While Under The Influence Of Who Knows What and the S94 World Cup round robin index appears to be lost forever? 

 

If SWUTIOWKW is the reason and the organizing party is forced to re-simulate the whole tournament - the integrity of the tournament is placed in question.  Perhaps that is the intention? Perhaps those in power wanted something like this to happen? Perhaps the goal is to stop the World Cup from being played in the future, so a rival tournament of some sort will be played. Or perhaps more games will be played during the VHL regular season, which would mean the World Cup can be played only every four years?

 

At this point it is too early to say for sure what will happen next, so many questions flying in the air, so many question marks.
