Team USA took multiple minor penalties in the first period, and when under 2 minutes was left in the period Team Asia finally managed to score on the man advantage when Pombo made it 1-0. The first period was an even battle despite the penalties USA took, 1-0 after the first. Team USA came into the second period sleepy when only 22 seconds were played Pombo scored again! The second period was domination by Team Asia, they had 17 shots and Team USA had only 5, but the score after two was only 2-0.  Team USA tried desperately to get back into the game, they managed to put the puck behind Eagles when Toland scored for Team USA. Despite having 8 or so minutes left to tie the game Team USA did not score more goals. Deserved for Team Asia, the game ended 2-1.
