Random thoughts

I'm not entirely sure what to talk about this week for the .com article, so it's probably just going to be some random thoughts. 

 

First, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this, the D.C. Dragons are off to a terrible start, and my player is not helping things. Clearly we have a long way to go before we are even competitive, let alone a cup contender. But I am committed to this player, and would like to send the general manager off in the best way possible. 

 

Shout-out to @KaleebtheMighty on the book. Hope it works out well for you. We'll have to discuss self marketing sometime.

 

Once again I find myself considering looking for a new job. I like a lot of the things where I am, including the short commute and being able to spend more time with my children, but my boss is just losing it. He's completely unreliable, and I very much feel like I've been set up for failure, most likely unintentionally. 

 

On that note, I'm also considering utilizing the employee assistance program offered through my work to see if I can get some therapy to help sort out these things. When I'm trying to go to sleep on a Saturday night and I can't because I'm thinking about work crap? Not cool. 

 

Despite the Dragons' slow start, we're actually not the worst team in the league. And in its own special way, that also makes me sad.
