It has been an interesting week of hockey. Riga has shown to be a team that can beat very good teams on occasion, making them an interesting team to watch. Most of the scoring comes from the second line as the first line goes against the other teams top players. This strategy worked for Moscow's cup run last season, so I am used to it and can see that it will be an advantage in some games. I think we run into trouble when the opposing team has a good second line as well. Then it is up to Simon to come up with a winner. Gunner has been effective in his roll and seems to stifle some offense the other teams throw at us. I am not sure where we will end up this season, but it will be a fun journey for sure. Gunner's team mates are good to play with and all have been trying to do what's best for the team. So the first twenty games have been played, let's see what the next twenty does to Riga's standings.
