Another hectic week in the Der Meister household. Normally I would try to at least do a little bit of writing during a lunch break at work, but I've been so busy there too. The opportunity has not presented itself. So here we are, sitting in the parking lot outside of a Kung fu studio, writing a Fan 590.com piece. 

 

I'm glad to see my player has started to score more consistently, and considering my TPE count, that gives me a lot of optimism for Shevchenko's future. Don't get me wrong; it's been an underwhelming season based on my expectations,  but it is improving. It quickly became apparent that having my player on the top line was not working, and more often than not he appeared to be dead weight, hence the shift to line 2. Of course, with that comes almost zero chance of assists, since DC's second line is all bots, leaving Shev as the primary breadwinner.

 

Speaking of, winning 2 of our last 3 is shocking to me. Looking at our roster, I didn't expect us to have more than 10 wins on the season, but we're already halfway there with less than half the season in the books. And before anyone takes that as a complaint, please know that when I play sports games that have a franchise mode, worst-to-first is my favorite challenge.
