Why I hate Mondays ......

While you might think this has to do with having to go to work; which it doesn`t since I don`t aways work Monday like most individuals as an ALT in Japan as I am more likely working Tuesdays, Wednesdays with a ton of days off; which is why I have time to burn most of the time so I spend a great deal of time in the VHL community.

 

But since I live in Japan it makes Mondays harder since North America is a full day behind me; and no, I cannot see the future otherwise Vancouver Wolves would win all the cups. But it brings about an interesting situation where everyone is talking about earning TPE and different task since I think the majority leave it right until the last moment on the weekend but I am an early in the week type and I think this has to do with the fact that everyone gets me hyped to earn TPE on a Monday (Sunday in NA); but I cannot earn until Tuesday.

 

I guess if I stop to think about, I get an extra day of thinking about what I want to write or how to earn my TPE for the week but this is also why I complete the task early as I am sure I would be confused by the fact that I can claim on Monday for the past week if I left in until the last moment!

 

Makes me also think about the playoff last season in the NHL as the NHL Saturday night in Canada is actually Sunday Morning in Japan. Always wonder if anyone would notice that I am drinking and watch hockey at 8:30am!! LOL!! Wife would clearly put her foot down unless I maybe offered up my banana beer as distraction!! LOL!!

 

P.S. I also miss Canadian beers since we just had a full conversation about flavored beers in the staff room at school since beer is rather boring!!

Also don`t think of me as teacher as I think of myself more as Jack Black from School of Rock type, hungover all the time and cannot wait to leave!! LOL!!

But I cannot play a guitar so no sing for my students!! LOL!!
