Just Checking In

Hello VHL. I miss you. I miss writing and interacting with all of you and I really miss having the time to read what people post. I know 2 weeks ago I said I was going to be diving right back in but life had other plans. I have some new health issues that I am currently dealing with and combined with the fact that I’ve been in tax season mode the last 2 weeks through to tomorrow, my head just has not been anywhere near caring about the VHL. I’ve missed more than a few days of doing my Updater job which, if you know me, I was working on the queue literally every day after I got the job. I’ve also been having some issues with work programs that have been infuriating to deal with and take up most of my mental energy. If you’ve seen me on Discord recently, then you’ll know that almost all of my down time has been spent playing video games because they’re just so easy for me to hide in. I’ve also been devouring audiobooks lately so I’ve been seeking a lot of escapism. Unfortunately, the VHL is not enough of an escape in the off season and I have barely paid attention to Ahsoka in the ProAm because a) she’s been wracking up the penalty minutes again and b) it doesn’t have any real effect on her so I’m just like whatever.

 

But that’s my update for now. Not sure if I’ll have the mental capacity to churn out a media spot this week but we’ll see.
