Young Gun Excelling in Vegas

Shortly after landing in Las Vegas, James Pearson spent some time with family, but after a few days getting to know the city he decided to go out partying with some new friends. After a wild night that included Strip Clubs, Poker games and underage Bar Hopping, James ended up extremely inebriated and somehow found his way into the Koala Exhibit at the Vegas Zoo.

Pearson was found in his underwear cuddling an elderly Koala who Declined reporter’s request for comment. Pearson was released at the Vegas Police Headquarters after any potential charges were dropped.

 

Shortly after this incident the young Vegas winger was seen being berated by his father, former VHL player Alex Pearson, who is best known for being one of the original Prague Phantoms in their inaugural season. James spent the rest of the offseason training hard with Vegas staff, making sure not to get caught up in the flashy Vegas lights.

 

With the first two games of the season coming underway this week, Pearson has looked strong on his teams top line, Contributing his first VHLM career goal, and providing a strong physical presence with 5 Hits. He’s also a +4, showing he can contribute at both ends of the ice and be a valuable teammate.

 

After his rocky start to living in Vegas, Pearson has stayed relatively lowkey, avoiding reporters after games and spending most of his time at the team’s training center. Pearson will be an exciting addition to watch for Vegas this upcoming season.
