S96 week one interview

S96 has begun, we found time to speak with VHL Calgary Wranglers player Miner vHLer @Rhynex Entertainment,  who had a fantastic start to the new season.

 

Reporter: Hello Miner! Nice to see you again! You look like a completely different player out there to begin Season 96! What did you eat over the off season?

 

Mv: Hello. It has been a good start to the season! I have to credit Adi Dassler @BOOM and Keegan Gamble @Keegan Gamble, they have been flying out there, putting those pucks in the net. Being on the second line where the opposing defence is weaker also helps.

 

Reporter: You are a week into the season and you have nearly doubled your career total in hits from your previous two seasons, what changed? What are you doing differently out there?

 

Mv:  Just skating and committing to hits. Playing a more physical game, but I really need to be much more disciplined out there. I've gotten so many minor penalties already, it's crazy out there when you try to play more aggressively. Those refs really are blind sometimes.

 

Reporter: What are your expectations and goals for this season?

 

Mv: I want to have a great season. I want to score more goals, be more of a physical presence and be much harder to play against. But I need to keep my game clean.
