Talking about VHL stuff because I want TPE

Alright my mind has been drawing a blank for sometime now, sadly I just can't find that same level of enthusiasm and energy I use to have for the VHL, even after the break I took I just didn't feel full recharged. Feels like I used up all my creative hockey juice during the careers of my first two players. I feel I was doing well enough for the first few seasons of Kadachi's career but that drive has dropped off hard, there are weeks where I'm like "Crap I need to claim TPE for my VHL player". Honestly the only thing that reminds me to do that is because I always have a VHL tab open, just so I can check up on things easily and see who won since I am still curious about that. I hate that I'm becoming a "clicker" (I believe that's the right term) but again, I just can't find the energy to do much more than hit practice, welfare and trivia. Which of course Trivia can always be a bit of a crap shoot because I don't know where to find the answers for some stuff and don't always wanna bug someone for answer, a lot of the time I just wanna make a guess and move on.

 

Something that happened before the off-season was the closure of the VHLE, I was never was a huge fan of it personally but I can understand why it was created. Probably the saddest thing to me is that we didn't get back the VHLM teams that were taken for the E, the Yukon Rush and Minnesota Storm, especially the Storm in my case since I spent two seasons there with two different players. Sure it's only two seasons totally but one was with my first player Jaxx Hextall who got to be apart of one of the best M teams ever and then won the cup that season with no regulation loses in the playoffs. Second time with Jonathan Ori, he was apart of a run to the final with the team, while we came up short it was still special. Maybe in the future they'll add again, I can't deny the thought of completely brand new teams would be cool. I never had a player play a proper season in the E, Ori missed out on it though he did play in that thing to help determine draft positions if I recall correctly, and I decided to go right to the top league with Kadachi.

 

Speaking of Kadachi how is he doing so far this season? Well he got off to a rocking start but has since cooled off which was sadly expected. I definitely recall Ori getting off to a strong start here and there only to cool off a little later. He's fallen under a point per game, he's got 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points in 22 games. Still good and he could get back above a point per game. That would be the main thing for me, is for him to finish at or above 72 points. 40 goals would be my hope for this season. The Americans are currently 13-8-1, they are tied with two other teams at 13 wins and one behind the Wolves with 14. It remains to be seen if they can make the post season this season. Kadachi is one of four players to have over 100 hits with 102, and fourth in penalty minutes with 58, his teammate Yannick Jenser is third with 65.
