Riga Stuff

Here we are, the halfway mark of the season. It looks pretty clear who the top team in the league is, again, with Moscow only losing two regulation games. They are the cream of the crop. Let's see if they can make it past the first round this time. It should be a slam/dunk for them. Riga has proven itself to be a team that plays a bit more open. Losing to teams it should beat and getting a couple of revenge wins against better teams. Of course this all changes when the playoff starts. I expect that Riga will do much better in the playoffs, it just might not be an easy road to travel. It is not like Riga is lacking talent, there are really good players on the team. Getting them to play their “A” game at the same time seems to be a challenge. Riga will chug along and gets some wins against the big boys and end up in the playoffs where Simon has been much more friendly to the team. We shall see.
