Oh, his name actually is Jakub, my bad lol. I've always liked Kuba more. He used to be a goaltender for České Budějovice, but the season I moved there for uni, the team relocated to Hradec Králové. We used to chant "fucking Hradec" at every game for the Budějovice minor league team

Ah I was in Ceske Budejovice in May this year, very nice city. Walked past the stadium and was delighted to see big Vinny Prospal as one of the alumni.

 

Cesky Krumlov is also outrageously underrated (probably for the best as it's already a tourist trap...)

The whole southern Bohemia has its charm, I love it there. I live in the eastern part of the country now, but I keep telling myself I'll move back to Budějce one day.

 

Český Krumlov is beautiful as well. There's a quote from a Czech movie: "it's so beautiful here...like in Krumlov" haha. But yeah, it's better to visit it not in Summer.

Mhmm yeah I believe it. Drove from Ceske Budejovice back to Germany (we were flying in and out of Munich) through Bohemia and then Austria. I mean I'm a sucker for any side of the Alps.

Well I have to disagree, as Jan is playing for 'my' club and won two championships with them. One Season Kuba was in the finals with Zurich against us and I believe Jan could not score against his brother (but assisted in some goals)... And Zurich is our Hradec...

Honza used to be absolutely lethal with Mozyakin. A better player than Kuba for sure, but I prefer Kuba nonetheless. Might be because I've met him, unlike his brother lol
