I really hate the VHL offseason. It's even worse when you play for a team that doesn't make the playoffs. The three months of offseason is such a drag, and it feels like a challenge to consistently write articles or do anything noteworthy or fun. I knew we weren't making the playoffs, which also kind of wrecked the regular season experience a little bit. Maybe we should have a mini-tournament a'la the Hockey World Championships where players not in the playoffs and top prospects compete in a two week long event or something. I dunno, just spitballing, I guess.

I'm trying to think of which character in my novel I would rename to include a VHLer's name should they win my proposed charity auction. I have a couple of ideas, none of them particularly large roles, as you might expect, but I can definitely make it work. I hope people think that's a cool idea. I want to help raise money for whichever charity we choose, and the idea of including Your Name in the book sounds pretty neat to me, at least.

It's American Thanksgiving today. I don't really care about all that. We're having mac and cheese, which is always nice and comforting, and no family here [nor traveled to family], which is better. Honestly it's just a day off, and I desperately needed that.

I am participating since S82 and it has existed before apparently.

 

It is 'unofficial' and the stats will be lost to time. All players (even retired ones) can participate and Teams will be drafted by the respective GM's in snake order.

The woke world has ruined my life. I read this as "we have the Pronoun which should start soon".... I was furious as I was forced to drop the ™ from my username and was about to go apeshit. I need a break from real life.
