Ottawa Lynx 3 - 1 San Diego Marlins

First Period

These two teams came into this semifinal game with a series set at 2-2 split. With both teams trying to advance to the VHLM Finals, it was gonna come down to this game to give either team the push to make that dream a reality. The Lynx came out and fired home their first goal coming from Brandon Petan Jr [6] coming off an assist from River Harrington [9]. The Lynx have a 1-0 lead in the first period for 16 whole seconds before San Diego Marlin's player, Jean-Pierre Devote [7], won a faceoff at center ice and scored a couple seconds later with the help of Blaze Thunderstrike [8] & Nicholas Sunderbruch Jr [5]. Halfway through the first, Ottawa chalked one, giving them a 2-1 lead at the end of the first. This goal was credited to Ocean Codoller [6] with assists coming from Drosmis Sarkanis [10] & Joel Jakobs [7].

Second Period
Ottawa was going into the second period with a 2-1 lead, and left it with a 3-1 lead. This deficit was caused by a familiar face in Ocean Codoller [7], who gunned his second goal of the game in for Ottawa. This was assisted by Drosmis Sarkanis [11] & Joel Jakobs [8].

Third Period

There was no scoring this period as both goalies posted a 3rd period shutout! This was a great period for Lynx Goalie, Dr Victor von Doom, who has yet to lose a playoff game yet (4-0-0). He faced 8 shots in the third period, stopping them all. Overall, he had a .962 save percentage, stopping 25 of 26 shots that headed his way.
