And, we're off

The ice is nice and clean. Our skates are sharp, and our sticks are taped. That's right, it is hockey time. It felt a bit chaotic this off season with the holidays mixed in. It looks like a few of us might take a week or so to get back into game shape. I think there were too many parties and not enough training. Time will tell. I know I didn't stick to any regular routine, just too many other things to do. I am really hoping that other teams slacked off and come out in poor form.

 

This season will host several players that are on the older side of the game and have lost a step or two. We might see some new faces leading the way this season.

 

It still looks like the European conference is a four team show again. Not sure how long this trend will last, but it doesn't look healthy to me. I guess the people in charge know what they are doing.
