Another week down and I find myself wondering what to write for a VHL.com article. I still think of it as a Fan590. Wish we still had that branding, to be honest. I used to listen to 590 when I was in college - I was close enough to Canada that I picked it up clearly, and I generally enjoyed the various personalities on that station, even if their hockey focus was understandably on the Leafs. My wife and I honeymooned in Toronto and stayed on the same street as the Fan590 building. I was so excited to actually see it, believe it or not.

Once again I have completely forgotten to do predictions, as well. Free TPE down the drain. I don't know why but my brain just procrastinates on it and then it's too late. I usually only get 1 or 2 TPE anyway, but still, I should have made an effort.

I'm glad Shevchenko has finally started scoring some goals. The fact that he had a goose egg in that column until well after 50 shots on goal still staggers me. Simon truly is a fickle mistress. But Toronto is, overall, outperforming expectations, I would think, and hopefully we can keep it up.
